Motor Mouth Pizza ("we," "us") is a pizza restaurant opening at 29960 W 12 Mile Rd, Farmington Hills, Michigan. This policy explains what we collect when you visit eatmotormouth.com or join The Garage Club list, how we use it, and the choices you have. The short version: we use your information to keep you posted about Motor Mouth Pizza, and we never sell or share your mobile number.
What we collect
- What you give us: your first name, your mobile number, and your email address if you add one.
- A record of your consent: the exact words you agreed to when you signed up, and the date and time.
- Basic technical details: the type of browser and device you used, and the internet address you signed up from, which we keep only in a scrambled (hashed) form so it can't be read back. We use these to stop spam and to keep an accurate record of your consent.
- Visit counts: we count page visits with a privacy-friendly tool that does not use cookies and does not follow you to other websites.
This website does not use cookies for advertising or tracking.
How we use it
- To send you the text messages you agreed to: news about our opening, invitations such as the soft open, offers, and Garage Club updates.
- To email you about the same things, if you gave us an email address.
- To set up your Garage Club account when we open. Your mobile number is how you'll log in, and you'll confirm it with a one-time code the first time.
- To keep the list free of spam and fake signups, and to meet our legal obligations.
Text messages
If you sign up, you agree to receive recurring automated marketing text messages from Motor Mouth Pizza at the number you provided. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
- To stop texts, reply STOP to any message. We'll confirm and send nothing more unless you sign up again or reply START.
- For help, reply HELP or email hello@eatmotormouth.com.
We do not sell, rent or share your mobile number or your text message consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. The only companies that handle your number are the ones that help us run our own messages (see below), and only to do that.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with companies that help us run Motor Mouth Pizza, such as the services that host our website and database and that deliver our email and text messages. They may use it only to provide those services to us. We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or someone's safety, or as part of a sale or transfer of our business (in which case this policy would still apply to your information).
How long we keep it
We keep your information while you're on our list or a Garage Club member, and delete it when you ask us to. We keep records of consent and opt-outs for as long as the law requires, so we can show we only texted people who agreed and never text someone who said stop.
Your choices
- Reply STOP to end texts at any time.
- Email hello@eatmotormouth.com to see, correct or delete the information we have about you, or to stop emails.
Children
You must be 13 or older to sign up. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has signed up, email us and we'll delete it.
Keeping it safe
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information: it's stored with access limited to Motor Mouth Pizza, and sent over encrypted connections. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep yours that way.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here with a new date. If a change is significant, we'll let you know by text or email first.
